Keeping Older Adults Connected
Recently, an 85-year-old man relocated from the East Coast to Half Moon Bay to be closer to family following the loss of his wife.
New to the community, he quickly found connection and purpose through Senior Coastsiders by volunteering weekly in our kitchen to help prepare meals for other older adults. Our transportation program makes this possible by providing reliable rides to and from the center. Without this support, he would be unable to volunteer or participate regularly. Transportation has allowed him to remain active, socially connected, and engaged in his new community during a significant life transition.
We hope we can count on our supporters to give from the heart and help Senior Coastsiders raise $125,000 to support successful aging, now through Thursday, May 7 at CoastsideGives.org/SeniorCoastsiders.
A big-hearted matching gift of $20,000 from the Robert G. Kirby Foundation Fund will help your donation make an even bigger impact!
Thank you for your Coastside Gives support!
