Progress Report

Our 40 More Campaign launched September 16, 2017.
One year later, we have reached 30% of our 5-year goal!
We could not have made this progress without the generous support
of YOU, our amazing local community.

40 MORE CAMPAIGN GOALS

  1. Increase funding generated from our current revenue sources

  2. Raise $5 million over 5 years to increase the revenue generated from our endowment

  3. Secure reimbursement from the City of Half Moon Bay and the County of San Mateo for services rendered.

WHY NOW?

The funding model that has fueled our success for the past four decades is no longer valid. Since moving into our new building in 2014 the number of seniors we serve has almost doubled as has our operating budget. Baby Boomers are aging into seniors and living longer lives. Many of these older adults and their families will need our services to keep up with the rising expense of living here.

PROJECTED SHORTFALL

Projecting five years from now we conservatively estimate the need for a 33% increase in revenue to support rising demand. 40 MORE is a revenue-generating solution that blends our current funding mechanisms with new untapped resources that fundamentally transform how and where we derive our revenue. Current revenue peaks at $1 million and won’t meet 2022 expenses.
